The new “green” ceramic tiles, designed by a ceramic tile distributor, have been featured in restaurants and other venues, with the ceramic tiles now appearing in a few locations around Manhattan.
The ceramic tiles are also part of the New York State Parks Program and are on display at the City Museum, the New Jersey Aquarium, the Grand Central Terminal and in parks across New York.
“These are not just for summer; they’re going to be in our parks for the next three months, we think,” said Anthony Stumpf, president of the Manhattan Inst., which is a nonprofit that promotes outdoor recreation in the city.
“We think it’s going to take off in the summer, so this is the way to do it.”

“It’s a great opportunity to showcase New York as a city that’s welcoming to outdoor recreation,” he said.
“That’s one of the reasons that we’re putting these in public parks and having them be part of our programs.”
The New Jersey Parks Program says it is currently working with a ceramic supplier to produce ceramic tiles for the New Jerseys, a new outdoor sports arena that opened in 2019.
StumpFF noted that New York also is looking into other ceramic tile products, but declined to comment further on the new New York program.
A ceramic tile manufacturer says the New Yorkers are in the early stages of production of their ceramic tiles.
“They’re trying to get through the early design stages,” said Scott Stumpford, general manager of Ceramic Technology in New Jersey.
“This is a very long process.
They’re really trying to figure out the design and manufacture of ceramic tiles.”
Stumpffer said the New Englanders are “working really hard” to get the ceramic tile designs to market.
The New England Parks Program is currently in the process of working with ceramic tile suppliers to make the tiles.
A New Jersey company has been working with New York’s ceramic tile supplier, but is still in the beginning stages of producing the tiles, according Stumpfl.
The tile will be installed at the New New York Stadium in 2019 and will be used to decorate the stadium’s marquee, which is currently being designed.
New York will also host the 2019 Super Bowl, which will take place in 2019, in 2019 for the first time.
