The U.S. National Hurricane Centre said the maximum sustained winds are expected to be 70 mph and maximum sustained rainfall is expected at least 8 inches.
The maximum sustained wind was measured at 12 mph and the maximum maximum sustained river surge was measured 6 feet, according to a NOAA advisory.
The wind gusts are expected in the upper 30s to lower 50 mph with gusts of 50 mph or higher in parts.
