How to use ceramic picture-tiles to protect your home
The idea behind the tiles, according to a recent study from the National Institutes of Health, is to protect the house from outdoor intruders by absorbing heat and reducing humidity.
It’s also supposed to make it harder for indoor cats to scratch the tiles and make it easier for homeowners to find their pets.
And it has the added benefit of making the house look like a more elegant living room.
Here’s how to get started.
Put a piece of ceramic tile into a dish or dishwasher.
A standard dishwasher will not have the tiles in it.
To create the best-looking and easiest-to-install look, put a piece about 1-inch thick (about 2.5 centimeters) of ceramic into a sink.
Place the dishwasher on a low cycle cycle and turn on.
Repeat this process several times until the tile is dry and shiny.2.
Take the tiles out and place them on a plate.
If the tile isn’t too wet, it can absorb a bit of water.
If it’s too wet and it’s hard to lift, put the tile in the microwave or in a bowl of ice water for a few minutes.
Add the other ingredients.
If you’re using the ceramic tiles for your living room, add the following ingredients: a small amount of sugar (about 1 tablespoon), flour (about 4 tablespoons), baking powder (about 3 tablespoons), salt (about a teaspoon), and pepper (about 10 to 15 milliliters).
Mix it all together in a large bowl.4.
Put the tiles into a cabinet, so that they are not touching.
The cabinet should be wide enough to allow them to slide into easily.
When the tiles are placed in the cabinet, they will be facing the door.5.
Let the cabinet sit for at least 30 minutes, then remove them from the cabinet and put them in the freezer for at-home use.
