Posted October 05, 2018 08:01:58Gold miner Gold King Resources Inc. plans to spend at least $1.5 billion on ceramic tile in Texas, adding to its existing investments in the state, according to a statement from the company.
Gold King said the new $500 million project will be located in a portion of the city of Frisco and be located adjacent to a new water main.
The new tile will be used for signage, signage, and other outdoor and other signage uses.
The company plans to use ceramic tile for both interior and exterior signage, but the company also plans to add an outdoor signage design for the outdoor plaza at the new site.
Gold is the second-largest gold miner in the United States, and its latest acquisition will add to the company’s holdings in the Texas Gold Rush.
Gold King is one of several companies that recently purchased copper mines in Texas.
Gold king has previously spent hundreds of millions of dollars in Texas to upgrade infrastructure.
The company also has recently been making major investments in infrastructure projects in Texas as well as in Georgia and Louisiana.
The latest announcement comes as the Texas Legislature prepares to take up legislation that would allow the state to sell land on which the Gold King project is to be located.
The legislation, which passed last week, would allow Texas to sell a portion or all of the land and build an arena to be used as a football stadium for the state’s football team.
